Report: Coventrians (A) - Nuneaton Griff

Coventrians 0-6 Nuneaton Griff

Saturday 17th October 2026

Nuneaton Griff produced a clinical second half display to win 6-0 away at Coventrians on Saturday 17th October, with Dylan Mills scoring a hat-trick and the Griff keeping another clean sheet.

Manager’s Reaction

Speaking after the game, First Team Manager Wayne Hadley said:

“We had five forced changes from last week’s 1-0 win. The first half was nip and tuck, and the difference was a ball over the top from Powell, with Mills running clear, pulling it down lovely and lobbing the onrushing keeper.”

“In the second half the floodgates opened. Mills completed his hat-trick with some clinical finishing, and then the subs arrived with great energy and enthusiasm, Edmonds, Baker, Shilton, Thackeray and Kintu. Kintu scored two well taken goals and Shilton got the sixth.”

“The positive is a professional performance from the back, marshalled by Mihail Petrov, keeping another clean sheet.”
