Nuneaton Griff Confirm 6 More Retained Players

Nuneaton Griff Retain 6 More Players, Joe Inglis, Zach Edmonds, Clay Powell, Alfie Kingsman, Simon Short, Aaron Dhingra

Nuneaton Griff Football Club is pleased to confirm a further six players have committed their futures to the club ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.


Joe Inglis, Zach Edmonds, Clay Powell, Alfie Kingsman, Simon Short and Aaron Dhingra have all agreed to stay on with the Heartlanders for the upcoming season.


Manager Wayne Hadley is pleased to retain the six players to his first team squad for the coming season.


Joe Inglis


Joe Inglis, a defender, is just 16 years of age and has proved that age is just a number.


Joe has come in with ease, a real mature player for his age who takes it all in his stride and is sure to climb the footballing ladder.


Zach Edmonds


Zach Edmonds, a defender, came into the team for the last four games of last season and did very well, gaining valuable experience along the way.


He is again an exceptional talent for the club.


Clay Powell


Clay Powell, a central midfielder, is so comfortable and clever with the ball, playing well above his years.


He is really pleasing on the eye to watch and continues to impress in training.


Alfie Kingsman


Alfie Kingsman, an attacking midfielder who can also operate out wide, has energy like few others and simply doesn't stop running.


He came into the first team towards the end of last season and instantly made an impression, picking up a man of the match award.


Simon Short


Simon Short, an attacking midfielder who can also play wide, is a more senior player and a great guy to have around the young lads.


Like Clay, he is pleasing on the eye and very tidy in possession.


Aaron Dhingra


Aaron Dhingra is a centre back who has really improved over the last few years.


He continues to grow in confidence as a defender who can break the lines and is comfortable in possession.
