Nuneaton Griff Confirm First 5 Retained Players

Nuneaton Griff Football Club is pleased to confirm the first five players from last season's squad have committed their futures to the club ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.

Dylan Mills, Mihail Petrov, Blessing Katanda, Cody Faulkner and Ruben Wilson have all agreed to stay on with the Heartlanders, giving First Team Manager Wayne Hadley a strong core to build around as the club prepares for life in Midland Football League Division Two.

Dylan Mills

Dylan Mills is a pacey and powerful striker, a real livewire who causes problems for any opposition defence.

His energy and movement up front make him a constant threat, and we're delighted he's staying with us.

Mihail Petrov

Mihail Petrov is the engine of the team, a real presence in the middle of the park.

His work rate and control give us a strong platform every game, and having him back adds real steel to our midfield.

Blessing Katanda

Blessing Katanda is a dynamic left back with a wand of a left foot.

His attacking instinct and quality on the ball make him a real asset going forward, and we're pleased to have him with us again.

Cody Faulkner

Cody Faulkner is a versatile player with energy and quality in abundance.

He can slot into several positions and always gives his all, making him a real must have for any team going forward.

Ruben Wilson

Ruben Wilson is really getting his mojo back and enjoying his football again.

A powerful lad who can play in midfield or up top, his versatility and attitude make him a real asset to the squad.
